My vest suggestion is $120. Every TI should be able to afford it. The problem is threefold: first, TI’s wait far too long to invest in their protection. They then get worn down by the targeting to the point they don’t believe they can work. That is a serious mistake; under-investment at the outset. Second, the TI community is full of babble, impractical solutions, theoretical solutions, “solutions” that don’t work. It is an utter mess. Last, TI’s give up. They convince themselves they cannot work. They can. I worked with one such TI who found her way back into the workforce; it’s a job that was less than what she had originally but it pays the bills. I don’t want to hear it as far as “I can’t do it because….”. I have been targeted over 20 years in every way conceivable — utterly brutal. But I’ve found a way to keep earning. Whether we like to admit it or not, most TI’s CAN work but they are mentally traumatized and cannot get past this mental block. It is something that we need to work on as a community; and help TI’s work through that block. Otherwise, it is surrender and a kind of suicide because if you don’t have even resources for $100–200 in shielding, you are essentially committing suicide.
